Danny is serious about his place in the pack: Healing. He has a deep knowledge base and several skills due to his institutionalized upbringing in the laboratory he was born in. His life before the islands had been artificial--even his mother was simply a surrogate dog, carrying genetically engineered puppies. Dumped on an island, his survival training left him with book-smarts and he's woefully lacking in common sense and social etiquette. He's on a genius level intelligence and awkward in interactions with other dogs. As a friend, he'd be the distant eccentric who's more into his interests than socially connecting with his friends. Though friends may teach him how to be more interactive and understanding. A lover needs to be patient with him and teach him the ropes. Overall, he's clueless--a fish out of water, but also highly intelligent.
