Unable to speak, Kalev compensates by being incredibly expressive. He's also rather emotional and seeks attention since he's used to being ignored. He's a good listener, lending both a sympathetic ear and being a good eavesdropper. However, he also can end up a secret keeper because he has no way of sharing secrets, really. Kalev's mother, Kayla, was raped and he is just one of several puppies from the resulting litter. There is emotional damage there, for certain. His friends usually understand him more fully, having conversations with his wordless replies.

Proposed Plots

Skyler

He respects the Alpha female and is a bit shy when she comes because he doesn't have very many ways to display his loyalty (has no voice). However, her gentle nature allows her to be a friend to him.

Holden

Kalev and Holden are very close, being the boys of the litter. As such, Holden begins to understand more and more the words that Kalev wants to say but can't. It's through Holden's support that Kalev not only finds his soul (a nightingale), but also a way to use his soul to communicate with others.[/style][/style][/style][/style]

Now, his is just an idea, and it may not even involve me. But maybe he can have one of his siblings be like his best friend and he/she can understand everything about Kalev and what he is trying to say? I know hw is very expressive, but you know.. =D

Sounds awesome! Definitely there will be a lot of Kalev's communication that is lost in translation, so to speak. I know as a fact that having close siblings does lend itself toward an almost psychic bond. I do plan for him to have his soul later learn to "sing" what he's feeling, so to speak, but I think that a sibling guiding and supporting him will help him toward that. You think Holden would be the one who's up for this?

I would love to do i, but of course that would be a lot of planning ahead(like pms?) on how Holden will translate it ^^

Oh, I love doing PM RPs and incorporating them in the posts. I also am rather expressive in my writing as well and mental commentary could help if we need to RP on the fly. Mostly the planning is for important posts, though :3 I've also done IMing to talk through with this character (Kalev is an expy of Trucker, lol). I just felt Kayla would never name her son Trucker, lol.

Alright, i guess its all set. We just need to wait till they are a little older (which would be on friday when it turns to summer!)
