Mississippi had not been present when her friend was whelping her puppies. She watched her friend grow rounder and fuller through the weeks after she had come out with the truth: I'm pregnant. And ever since then, she had been entertaining thoughts of going after the dog that forced her to carry his children and threatened to take them away once she had given birth. She remembered the day before Kayla whelped her litter, how itchy she felt to kill. How she had to admit that she would miss that important day because she knew that if she had stayed, then the new mother wouldn't have been safe and neither her healer sister. However, where there was the guilt, Missy tried to fill it with a sense of obligation, that this was a mission she had to do: Kill the father.
The facts were that he was a loner, a white dog with black spots on him. Something unhinged about him. Perhaps he had the desire to control and rape females in the same way that she had the desire to murder dogs. Missy knew that she could not do this alone. She was a scout and knew the land, where the dog might be, because she knew where the loners stayed. But she wanted, first and foremost, someone to tell her that this was the right way of going about things. And only Andrea knew her secret outside of the family.
"Missy, you better know what you are doing, what you are asking of this young'un," Tenner warned, flying slowly beside the black and white dog. Missy didn't answer him. Her decision was final.
Missy knew what her family would say, since they knew her history, her insanity. They would tell her no. She knew that she wasn't supposed to do this. And, if she was going to do this for Kayla's sake, then it should be hard, terrible, and tough, and it had to change the very fiber of her being. But she knew that it would do none of those things. That, when all is said and done, it was just another incident in her life. She remembered every dog she had killed. She knew their faces, how they stank of terror, and the taste of their blood. But, she handled it in the cold, remorseless way. The last ones, after she believed that she could pass as normal, stop killing, she only felt guilty that she had messed up her streak of kill-free days.
This was the first time in two years that she committed to the act, made it her mission. The thought of it excited her, filled her with a predatory electricity that ran up and down her spine. You could almost say she was giddy.
She made it to Bohlale lands. Andrea, being a hunter, would be moving through the lands. Surely, she'd catch the scent of her friend. And this time, Missy's head was clear as a bell. This time, her obsession was the rapist. And her compulsion was to kill him.

The young female had been busy hunting for the past few days. Helping stock up and feed her pack, and that was what she was doing now, with a rabbit now dangling from her jaws, freshly caught, Candra had just caught up with her now, having decided to stay on the ground, rather than risking getting thrown off of Andrea's back while she was chasing her prey. It was a good choice, since Andrea didn't pay all that much attention to her companion while she was hunting, and tended to also run at a speed that would make even a greyhound proud. She wasn't a snail, and she wasn't going to slow down just so Candra wouldn't fall off of her back. They had worked it out long ago, Candra either walked or took her risk riding along.
"Are we going back to camp yet?" Candra asked, her voice weary, Andrea grinned, placing the rabbit at her feet, "Not yet, I don't think." The young female replied, giving a sweet smile to her lizard who, in turn, glared sharply at her and grumbled out a sigh to the border collie mix. Andrea wasn't going to give up yet, even if Candra was tired. They could keep back out of camp for a little while longer. It wouldn't make all that much of a difference.
Andrea sniffed the air carefully, curiously, though, she caught a familiar scent and tilted her head in confusion. She hadn't known Missy to be out here, or, at least, hadn't seen her about around here. The female bent down, and Candra climbed onto her back. Standing once again, Andrea picked up her rabbit and took off at a trot towards Missy's scent. Picking up speed once she knew that Candra wasn't going to end up falling off of her back.
Andrea skidded to a halt once she finally spotted the older female and arrived in front of her, Candra almost lost her footing, but managed to stay on Andrea's back, and Andrea only had minor scratches as a result of it. The younger female placed her rabbit down at her own feet and smiled at Missy. It had been a while since she had last seen the older female, and she held her to no fault for how their previous meeting had ended up ending. She deserved all of a warm greeting, so Andrea gave it to her.
"Hello!" Andrea said cheerfully, a grin covering her muzzle, and her tail wagging ever so slightly. "What brings you around these parts, again?" Andrea asked, her tone friendly, harboring no opinion of what had happened previously. She understood what had happened before, and very well knew that it hadn't really been Missy's fault at all. So, therefore there was no way that Andrea could be rightfully mad at her.

Andrea's hospitality was welcoming. It was better than Missy expected. She thought that it would be harder, but Andrea afforded her the convenience of not addressing what had happened the last time she was here. Which meant that she could get down to business after they exchanged hellos. "Howdy, Andy," Missy replied with a slight bow of the head, carrying over the sign of respect that she gave Andrea the last time. She found the Bohlale hunter to be more than what she deserved as a friend. Tenner hopped on the ground next to Missy. The black raven looked up at Andrea and Candra. He wondered if they would accept Missy's next action.
"I'm here on business," Missy said, her voice drawled her words. "Personal business." Compared to next time, she seemed stable, almost normal. Too calm. It was like she was a different dog from the nervous wreck that had introduced herself to Andrea the last time. "I'm aiming to kill a dog. Brutally." This time, it was Missy's turn to be blunt. Last time, Tenner just threw the truth into the open while she danced around the subject. His instincts had been right for them to trust the young dog, but this time, the raven was reluctant. Mostly because he didn't want Andrea poisoned by Missy's darkness. She was too kind. The bluntness made Missy seem like perhaps she was still the dog that Andrea had met the last time, albeit with more focus on the task.
Tennessee redeemed Missy by saying, "It's for vengeance. One of Missy's friends back in the pack got knocked up by a rapist loner." The situation almost made Missy noble. However, what was ignoble was the fact that she was going to enjoy every second of this escapade. Tenner thankfully left out the part where Missy couldn't be present at her friend's whelping due to the fact that she felt like a danger. She felt like she could snap and then end up killing some dogs she cared about.
"I've a big favor: I was wondering if you wanna help me," Missy said. For Andrea to help, that would give her a license to commit the deed without feeling like somehow, she was betraying the promise she made to herself to control her urges. "Help me hunt down a white dog with black spotting." It made sense. A hunter like Andrea using her skills for a dog while a Scout like Missy could find the information and, ultimately, do the deed.
Tenner doubted. And that meant that Missy doubted. But really, what fueled her was guilt. Guilt and rage, though she was more mad at herself than she was at the rapist.

The younger female blinked a bit in surprise when Missy said that she was here on personal business. She didn't know what to expect, exactly. It could be anything, and Andrea didn't want to get herself wrapped all up in something all that terrible. The tone of the older female's words was a bit surprising to the younger female, but she still waited for Missy to continue, carrying the same respect that she had held for the older female during their previous meeting, even after Missy had told her that she had a sort of blood lust that controlled her sometimes. Andrea wouldn't judge Missy on her first words. She would wait until the older female had told her what this business was before she would comment fully on it.
Andrea's eyes widened in surprise, as well as shock when Missy said that she was aiming to kill a dog brutally. That frightened her, at least a little bit, but it was more surprise than shock. Even though she knew that a part of the older female had to thirst for this type of thing.
The younger female was soothed at least a little bit when Tenner explained that it was for vengeance and a loner male had gotten Missy's friend pregnant, and not of her own will. It disgusted Andrea, even if it put everything into a clearer focus for the younger female. Sometimes, Andrea couldn't even begin to imagine the horrific things that some dogs could do of their own free will. This male obviously deserved it, by causing so much pain to Missy's friend.
Andrea wasn't as surprised when Missy said that she wanted her to help her, do her a favor, to hunt down a male with black spotting. The younger female nodded, slowly, still considering in her eyes as she did this. A moment later, Andrea's eyes refocused on Missy and she nodded to Missy, more sharply this time.
"I'll help you Missy." She said, her voice soft and even, her brown eyes remaining serious and focused. Andrea tilted her head ever so slightly a moment later, "Do you want me to keep my ears and my eyes open?" She asked, her tone more curious this time, she hoped that was what the older female wanted her to do. She was much better at that than anything else the older female might have in mind. Andrea could be quiet and focused, when she needed to be, at least, if it wasn't every moment of her currently short life.
"I won't need to help you kill him, right? Just help you track him down so you can?" Andrea asked, her voice carrying a tone of nervousness, she wasn't a killer, nor did she want to be, unless you considered hunting her prey that, which Andrea did not. She didn't want to be forced to kill someone, although she could still help Missy find him, she wouldn't want to kill him. She would help hunt him down to get him killed, but she wouldn't kill him herself. The male deserved it, but Andrea still wasn't going to get blood on her paws. She didn't want to, even if she wanted to help.

Missy looked at the younger female. Her thoughts ran in her mind. You are so naïve to help this sinner, girl. And Missy felt that she was taking advantage of a dog who didn't yet understand the gravity of the situation. She was getting ready, not to call a dog out, but to murder him in the most horrific way possible. She liked to think of herself as a vigilante, going after the dog that ruined her friend's life, but really, she was just satiating a primal need to kill. To rip a dog apart. And, when the moment came, she knew that Kayla would be the furthest thing from her mind. But Missy believed that doing the deed would at least make up for the fact that she couldn't be there for Kayla. That she didn't help Carmella, Kayla's sister and the pack healer, with the whelping. And here was Andrea, offering not only to turn a blind eye and okay what she was about to do, but in fact offered to help. Everyone is too good.
Tenner shuffled uncomfortably, feeling his dog's weighty thoughts. He wanted to say something, but there was nothing he could say. He couldn't tel Andrea that she shouldn't help because it was in her nature to help and probably bringing it up would make her want to be brave for Missy's sake. And he couldn't tell her he should, not comfortably, because, although she was calm right now, her thoughts boiled with pictures of he dog she intended to kill and the different ways she was planning on killing him.
Missy nodded, "You'll be fine the whole trip if you want to help me track him down. Side by side." Missy said.
"He's the only thing that fills me up right now." No, Tenner thought. He didn't want to share this poisonous life with Andrea—who was too good. You can turn back yet. Turn back he willed. The mark lived in the loner lands, that much Missy knew. She could track him by herself, but two dogs would take shorter. "But when we find him, you can hang back. Fact, I'd rather you stay back, not see. I'm afraid we won't be friends if you see what I do to him." Her voice was thoughtful and honest. And talking about her weakness was liberating. Missy smiled. "So it's settled then?"So looking away is her only protection, Missy? Tenner thought. He wasn't happy with this. He wasn't even happy with the fact that Missy had chosen to carry out this deed. It would ruin how long she had stayed clean. And, even if she dressed it up as an act of vengeance, it was still fueled by guilt. Murder by guilt never made anyone feel better. However, he was loyal to Missy and her life was her choice. The best he could do was pick up the pieces when everything fell apart after everything was done.
I plan to finish this thread after your post and then post in the loner lands for the murder :3[/blockquote][/blockquote]

Andrea understood the older female's will to do good by her friend, and take care of this male who had done so many terrible things to her friend. Andrea would have wanted to do the same exact thing, although she would have wanted the pack to give him jealous. Plus the fact that she wouldn't have had the nerve to actually do it herself. She was a strong female, and could handle the blood and everything, she just didn't want to do something so terrible herself. And she had only signed on to help Missy track him down, and that was all the younger female was going to do. She wasn't going to get blood on her paws, or get herself in any trouble that might be a result of this.
Andrea nodded in agreement when Mississippi said that she would be safe for the entire trip. Though, Andrea didn't know how to respond all that well when Missy said that he was the only thing that filled her up right now, even though she did have a rather vague understanding of what the older female actually meant.
The younger female nodded in agreement when Missy said that she would rather have Andrea hang back, so that she wouldn't see what happened, otherwise, Missy was a afraid that they wouldn't be able to be friends after having her see all of that. Andrea didn't even think she could have handled seeing Missy kill that dog in the first place. The sweeter tempered female wasn't at all capable of horrifying violence.
Andrea nodded slowly when Missy asked if it was settled, "It's settled." Andrea replied with a strong nod of her head, she would help her friend, to the very best of her capabilities. It was her duty, and what was right, at least somewhat, in Andrea's book, and this male absolutely deserved it, from what the younger female heard, at least.
