OOC name: Ash character's name: Jessamine "Jess" rank: Alphaess age: 4 and a half years old gender: Female personality: Jess is a kind, caring female who does not enjoy to be strict, although she can be when she needs to be. She enjoys to get to know her pack mates, as well. She is considerate and is a steady dog, noticing much, as well as contemplating much. why your canine is good for this role: Jess would make a good alpha due to the fact that she can consider all the needs of her pack, not only those that will make it stronger. She considers the needs of the single member at the same time as the pack as a whole. She is a clever female and considers her choices, and how they will work out. She strives to keep everyone out of danger, and trouble, as well. RP Example:
The female had condemned herself, on her own whim, to camp for this day. She had to consider the coming months, drought could come in the summer, she was sure, though she did not want to think of it, to draw it to her pack. Jess wanted to be prepared for anything that could come in the coming months before it actually arrived, so that, if she actually needed to put a plan into action, she would already know what to do with that plan. She preferred to be prepared than to end up in that middle of a terrible drought and not actually know how to help her pack. She wouldn't leave them stranded due to her lack of planning, and they could hunt and patrol without her out in the open watching over them. Jessamine trusted them, and knew very well that everyone of these dogs could do their jobs, and well at that.
"What do you think, Humphrey?" Jess asked, her voice even, despite her racing thoughts as she leaned down to murmur in the duck's ear. She knew that he would know what she was talking about, he would be able to feel it, after all. Jess wanted to know his ideas, it would be a comfort, to at least have some ideas rolling around in their heads. "We would have to wait for those situations, Jess." Humphrey quaked to her, rather calmly. "You can always think up plans now, but how do you know they will work?" As he finished speaking, the duck turned to look at her, knowing that she would understand him, as clear as day.
"I know, I just hate having the unknown, standing there, and I can't really prepare." The female murmured in response to her duck. She hated feeling helpless when she could be preparing for something. It made her feel as if she was not helping her pack as much as she really could. "We could always fish. And we still have hunting. Even through that, we can figure something out. A bit less food for the adults, more for the pups and elders. We don't have to figure everything out now." Humphrey replied, beginning to waddle once more beside Jess as they walked around the camp.
"I know, I just can't help but worry. I know we'll be fine. Maybe I really do need to go out and help." Jess replied, at least, for the first part of her statement, the last part of her statement was directed more to herself than it was to Humphrey. It wasn't helping Jess wandering around the camp and letting her thoughts get a hold on her.
"Yes, you should go off hunting, you're a good alpha. It's not like everyone hates you, Jess. Just relax. Somethings you have to figure out when you get there." The female nodded in agreement to Humphrey, she let her worries go and started towards the exit of the camp, with Humphrey following. they would hunt, and she would wait to see what happened. She wouldn't neglected her pack in the now only because she was worrying about the future. She would stay loyal to them and guide them. Jessamine would the pack her all, and then some. They deserved it, and so much more than she could give them.
