Personality: Evelyn doesn’t have all that much confidence in herself. She turns skittish when anything spooks her, and she would probably spend quite a bit of her life cowering if it wasn’t for her façade. Evelyn tries to put up a veil, so no one in her family will worry about her, and the fact that nearly everything frightens her. Evelyn is a kind puppy, once she warms up to you. Getting her to warm up to you is a task in itself. She isn’t all that trusting to dogs outside her family, or friends of her mother, or aunt. Evelyn is friendly, if you catch her by surprise, in which case she’ll quickly resort to her quiet nature. To get her to laugh at any jokes you have to be really funny, or you have to sort of surprise her with the joke, so she won’t be able to stop herself before she starts laughing.

To someone who gets close enough to actually know Evelyn really well she can be a bit more outgoing and chatty. She’s a very loving, helpful puppy, even if she isn’t all that open to outsiders. Although she is timid and shy, she is a sweet heart under it all. If extreme conditions she’ll push her skittishness to the very back of her head so that she can help out, if there is a need for her help. She’ll grow out of it (or hid it more) as she grows older, and try to appear as if she is absolutely normal.

History: Evelyn and her siblings weren’t planned puppies, their father forced their mother to mate with him. This resulted in Evelyn’s mother’s uncertainty about the litter of puppies that she gave birth to, six puppies, including Evelyn, herself in that number. From the moment that her eyes opened the world frightened her, as if everything frightening was looming over her, or was waiting to jump out and frighten her. She enjoys being near her mother, as well as her other family members, and, she takes the most comfort in being near them, so in her youth she tends to keep close to her mother and siblings.
