Personality: Skylar is very, very protective of her loved ones.
upon meeting others, she becomes guarded, and makes him stay close to her before the other dog can even think of doing anything. if anything ever happened to her pack, she would never forgive herself, and probably fall into a deep, depressed state and never return. but if a dog manages to become close to her, she will be protective of them as well, and give her life for them, in no time at all.

around other dogs, Skylar can be very guarded and secretive, not wanting to talk at all. she doesn't speak unless spoken to, and prefers to stay away from gossipy-females who flirt their heads off. she doesn't like talking about that crap, but if she knows the dog well enough, she'll share it.

if you manage to befriend Sky, she can be very caring, almost like a mother.. she would do anything for a close friend of hers, and trusts them without question.

if someone comes between her and her pack, Sky isn't afraid to flash her fangs. she's had to fight off predators that wanted her brother before, and she wasn't about to let them get away with it. if she thinks a dog is coming off as threatening, or hostile, she'll become hostile as well. her bite is waaay worse than her bark, so if you catch her in this mood, I'd steer clear.

a very surprising trait in her personality, Sky can be very affectionate toward those that she cares about. she relishes the thought of having pups one day, and dreams of finding that one dog to sweep her off of her paws and love her for who she is, not for how she looks.

History:
Skylar's history is not something she enjoys discussing. Its quite sad actually, and very depressing. Her mother and father (Rocky & Ghost), were both born strays. And as you can imagine, life homeless, is not that easy. Skylar was the only one out of 5 puppies that survived, and her mother and father were never happy or loving. Life was hard for this poor little puppy, with parents that kept to themselves, not enough food, and nobody you could count on. When Sky was just about 1 year old, her father left them, he ran away with some young Pedigree collie, and she never saw him again. The one and only male role model had left her- abused and hurt. She never really knew the true love of a male, only her mother's care.
About a year later, Skylar went out hunting by herself, and accidentally was kicked from behind and she was knocked out cold. The next morning, she found herself in the care of an old Malamute, who had lost her puppies in a fire. Feeling sorry for the female, Skylar stayed to hear more, and learned that she had a male dog who also lived with her, about 3 years of age, who was orphaned. Because Sky had no experience or lessons on how to act around males, and was quite interested with this one. Demon was his name, and he was a large, strong brute, who was actually good-looking and had charm. He was a husky-shepherd mix, but had the looks of mainly a shepherd. Sky soon fell for the brute, and he her.
Sky had forgotten about her mother, and didn't remember about it until weeks later. Panic-stricken, Sky quickly ran back to her home, only to find her mother dead-brutally murdered.
Sky was stained for life. And when she went back to the Malamutes, to her worse nightmare, Demon had vanished. Heart-broken, She now can only wish and wander, looking for her one darling....Demon.
